London Worktops Experts supplies and installs premium worktops including quartz, granite, marble, quartzite and porcelain. Our services may include consultation, templating, fabrication, delivery and installation.

Quotations

All quotations are provided based on the information available to us at the time. A quotation may be subject to final measurements, site conditions, material availability, final design requirements, sink and hob specifications, edge profiles, cut-outs, upstands or splashbacks, and access and installation requirements. A quotation does not constitute acceptance of an order until the relevant order has been confirmed by us.

Measurements and Templating

Where applicable, we will arrange a template and measurement visit before fabrication. Customers must ensure reasonable access to the property and relevant areas. Once a template has been approved or fabrication has commenced, changes may result in additional costs or delays.

Materials and Natural Variation

Natural stone and stone-based materials can contain variations in colour, veining, pattern, texture, shade and movement. These characteristics are part of the natural or manufactured material and should not automatically be considered defects.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about the project and notifying us of relevant requirements before fabrication. Customers must ensure reasonable access to the property for delivery and installation.

Installation

Installation dates are estimates unless a specific date has been expressly agreed in writing. Installation times may be affected by material availability, supplier delays, fabrication requirements, site conditions, access difficulties, building works or unforeseen circumstances.

Existing Kitchens and Property

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, we are not responsible for defects or damage arising from existing kitchen units, walls, flooring, plumbing, electrical systems or other structures that were not installed by us.

Care and Maintenance

Customers should follow the care and maintenance instructions provided for their particular worktop material. Damage caused by misuse, inappropriate cleaning products, excessive force, impact or failure to follow care instructions may not be covered by any applicable workmanship or manufacturer warranty.

Warranty

Where a warranty or guarantee is offered, the specific terms applicable to the relevant product or installation will apply. Our website may advertise a 10-year guarantee, but the precise coverage and exclusions should be confirmed in the customer’s quotation, order confirmation or warranty documentation.

Payments

Payment terms, deposits, balances and any applicable additional charges will be stated in the quotation or order documentation. Where payment is required before fabrication or installation, fabrication or installation may not commence until the required payment has been received.

Additional Work

If additional work becomes necessary because of circumstances that could not reasonably have been identified before the quotation or template, additional charges may apply. We will, where reasonably practicable, discuss additional costs with the customer before carrying out the additional work.

Cancellation and Changes

Any cancellation or request to change an order should be made as soon as possible. Because worktops may be specifically fabricated for an individual project, cancellation or changes after fabrication has started may be subject to charges. Any statutory consumer cancellation rights that apply to a particular transaction will not be affected by these Terms.

We aim to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date. However, photographs, colours, material samples, prices and other information may vary and should not be relied upon as an exact representation of the final product.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including text, branding, graphics, photographs and design elements, belongs to or is licensed to London Worktops Experts. You must not reproduce, copy, modify or commercially exploit our website content without permission.
